Members of the Board’s Return to Play Adhoc committee met to discuss the new regulations announced by the province this past Friday. As always, our biggest concern is the safety of our members and staff. Capacity upstairs will go back to what it was when we began this season. We’ve decided to go back to curlers sitting with their own teams at a table designated by their sheet. Use of lockers remains, but please respect #s and distance. Hopefully, this won’t last long. We’ll be monitoring announcements made by our Health unit as well as the province.
Further, the club will be closed from December 24th and reopen January 3rd.
A reminder that curlers under the age of 18 will need to provide proof of vaccination. Curlers under the age of 11 will not be curling until the Health Unit resumes indoor sports for that age group.
